As the name suggests, this campsite is located in the Gorges du Tarn, one of the best motorcycling regions in southern France.

Sainte-Énimie is around a 15-minute walk away along a quiet road and offers plenty of shops, bars and restaurants.

My Thoughts on Camping des Gorges du Tarn

I stayed here for two nights while visiting the Millau Viaduct, which was about an 80 mile round trip through some of the best riding in the area.

This was the first campsite I'd ever turned up at without a booking and, fortunately, everything was so straightforward that I've been doing it ever since. The staff were friendly, the small shop stocked the essentials and the beautiful village of Sainte-Énimie was an easy walk away.
